Dancing in the “Cotswold” tradition with a touch of

“Lower Balby” thrown into the mix.

There is no doubt that Morris Dancing is fun to watch, adds to the occasion of summer in England and even more fun to do!  If you are between the ages of 11 to 90, you can learn to dance and the RM hold practice sessions between September and Spring every year for existing and new members.


We will teach you and coach you in all the movements and steps.

Morris Dancing, as an English form of performance dance entertainment, has been around in one form or another for at least 600 years - probably longer.

Ripley Morris (RM) want to keep it going for another 600 years.

To do this we need new blood - new recruits. This means YOU!  You can dance the English Morris!
