Dancing in the “Cotswold” tradition with a touch of
“Lower Balby” thrown into the mix.
There is no doubt that Morris Dancing is fun to watch, adds to the occasion of summer
in England and even more fun to do! If you are between the ages of 11 to 90, you
can learn to dance and the RMM hold practice sessions between September and Spring
every year for existing and new members.
We will teach you and coach you in all the movements and steps.
RMM intend to promote and recruit new Morris dancers and will be:

Some basic moves are common to all Morris traditions (and country dancing in general)
so you can quickly get the basics. We will get you in a set to have fun very quickly.
There is lots to learn, so even old hands get it wrong, forget or just get muddled.
Practice makes perfect.
Get it right you get a sense of achievement ! We all go wrong occasionally but the
dance goes on!
